Floral Print

Hey guys,

So I went a bought a set of nail art brushes on Amazon last week and I got them Saturday so I have been dying to do something with these brushes.  I have seen these Doc Marten floral inspired nails by Chelsea's Get Nailed and I really loved the mani so I decided to try and recreate the mani.  I actually love how it turned out and I really wish I would have been able to get better pics of this one.

I used Wet N Wild Ebony Hates Chris and acrylic paint

bigRuby Nail Tattoos

Hey guys,

So I ordered a few sets of the bigRuby nail tattoos and I got them yesterday so of course I had to instantly do a mani with them!  I got the Him set and the Stars set.  I am so excited about these, they are so cute and so flippin easy to use.  If you ever put a temporay tattoo on when you were a kid or have put one on your own kiddo then this is as simple as that.  You basically place it on your dry nail in the position that you want and then put a wet washcloth or paper towel on top of the paper backing for 15 seconds, slide the paper off the nail and the tattoo is transferred to your nail. I found the application very easy, just make sure that when you place it you get it correct the first time because it sticks to your nail once it is placed on it.  Anyways enough rambling, all in all I am super satisfied with these and can't wait to use more of them!

I used Orly Night Owl, bigRuby deer tattoo from the Him set and black studs from a nail art gems set I got from Cheeky on Amazon.

Scattered and Tattered

Hey guys,

I grabbed a few of the Bitz and Pieces collection by China Glaze and I am just now getting around to trying them out.  This one has rusty red colored glitter with black matte glitter.  I really like how these look, very different from what "mainstream" nail polish companies have been doing with glitter.  I will say it is hard to get the big black hexes out of the bottle but that really doesn't bother me too much.

I used China Glaze Gothic Lolita and China Glaze Scattered and Tattered

Geometric Design Mani

Hey guys,

So Dressed Up Nails has been doing these awesome geometric designs with some of her mani's lately and I am in love with how it looks.  I decided to give it a try myself and I am in love with it!  I used acrylic paint but I think I will try painting the design with nail polish next time because it can be more opaque looking than acrylic.

I used Sinful Colors Endless Blue (a supposed dupe of Nails Inc. Baker Street!) and pink acrylic paint.

Dreamcatcher

Hey guys,

So I have seen quite a few dreamcatcher mani's on Pinterest and a few tutorials on Youtube and have been meaning to try them for a while now.  I picked up some new acrylic paints today so I figured now was a good time to give it a go.  This not a difficult as I thought it was going to be, you do have to go slow and try to steady your hand as much as possible but it is pretty simple to do.  I also painted a feather on my thumb as an accent to the dreamcatcher on my ring finger.  I have a tutorial for the feather here if you would like to know how I did that one.  For the dreamcatcher I will probably do a tutorial on it because that is a post all in its self.

I used China Glaze Secret Peri-Wink-Le, and black, white and yellow acrylic paint.

Sweets Way

Hey guys,

I finally bought a couple of the Nails Inc. Sprinkles polishes.  I have wanted these for a long time and just never got around to going to Sephora to get them until recently.  I got Sweets Way and Pudding  Lane, the only two I really, really wanted.  I did a funky french with Sweets Way using an LA Colors Art Deco striper polish in Baby Pink.  I had a hard time getting good photos of this one so sorry for that!

Mix N Match

Hey guys,

So I have been itching to do some nail art lately and I kind of went crazy with this one.  I am not sure how much I like all of these designs together, but I am kinda in love with the little flowers and the leopard print one.  I used China Glaze Kalahari Kiss and all the designs are done with acrylic paint.

Blue Valentine

Hey guys,

So sorry for the lack of posts the past couple of weeks.  I had a really bad break on my middle finger and it looked so bad that I just couldn't take pics of my poor little nubbinized nails!  This is a photo from a few weeks ago that I never posted.  I didn't do a Valentines mani one, because I am currently looking for a new job and need to have neutral nails for interviews and two because I don't have a Valentine so I really didn't feel like doing a super lovey, dovey nail look haha.  I hope to start posting more soon, Happy Valentines Day!

I used Zoya Charla

Stars and Stripes

Hey guys,

I am trying to do more nail art lately, but I have been feeling really uninspired.  It may be time for some new nail art supplies!  This mani turned out different than what I had pictured in my head but it is still pretty cute.  I used China Glaze Bahamian Escape, white acrylic paint, inm Northern Lights topcoat, and some nail art confetti/glitter that I got at Dollar Tree.

Tea Time

Hey guys,

I have got some super cute flower nails today.  These nail reminded me of pretty tea cups, so cute!  I used all Orly products for this mani.  Orly Pure Porcelain, is the base for the flower nails, I then made the flowers using Elsbeth's Rose, Lollipop, and Dayglow. For the leaves I used Lucky Duck and Gumdrop and then for my ring finger I used Elsbeth's Rose and dots of Gumdrop.
