Galaxy Drip Nails

I have seen a few different creations of these galaxy drip nails floating around Pinterest lately and I really wanted to try them.  I thought they would be a lot easier than they were!  The hardest part was trying to keep the drips crisp looking while attempting to make the galaxy pattern.  I started with a pastel blue polish from Cosmetic Arts that I don't have a name for.  I then painted the drips with Orly After Party and sponged on Orly Meet Me Under the Mistletoe, Sweet Peacock and Essie Mojito Madness.  After that I applied a coat of Wet N Wild's Hallucinate over the entire nail and added a few glitters from China Glaze Snowglobe to the galaxies. 

 

 

 

 

 

Sweet Angel

Ok I have another feather look today, this is the one I did while doing my feather tutorial.  This may be a cute nail idea if you  are going as an Angel for Halloween??? 

I used Cosmetic Arts no name polish (I think this is Blue Light but not 100% sure), China Glaze Make A Spectacle, Orly Shockwave and a white striper polish.

I really love how Make A Spectacle look over this baby blue polish!

 

 

 

Splattered Gradient

Oh my goodness I am sort of obsessed with this mani!  I did a gradient and then splattered over it, the finished look is so cool. 

I did a white base (Orly Dayglow), then sponged with FingerPaints 15 Minutes of Frame, Sinful Colors Why Not, Color Club Pucci-Licious, and an unamed neon pink from Cosmetic Arts.  I then splattered with China Glaze Electric Pineapple.  I alternated which way I applied the gradient on the nail alternating between starting at the cuticle with the pink then flipping the sponge and starting with the green at the cuticle on the next nail.

Gradient Nails

Lately I have been in love with gradient mani's they are super easy to do and they look really nice!  I will probably do a tutorial on them soon.

This first one is what I would call a cotton candy gradient.  I used China Glaze Fuchsia Fanatic and Electric Beat then topped it off with Cover Girl City Lights.

This second one was an Easter gradient, the colors used were China Glaze Lemon Fizz, OPI Pink Friday and an unamed Cosmetic Arts pastel blue polish, then I topped it with Wet N Wild Hallucinate.
