Neon Tribal

Hey guys,

I feel like I haven't posted in forever!  I was without internet for like five days because the line outside my house got cut and I had to wait for the company to come out and repair it.  But it is finally fixed and I have a fun tribal mani for you all today.  I haven't done tribal nails in forever, mainly because they really frustrate me, but I thought I would try it out since it is a fun design for the summer time I think.  Also I don't know if I should do a tutorial on these or not, there are so many out there.  But I basically started with a off-white base then I painted stripes of my neon colors, all three colors once on each nail, and then went in with my black acrylic paint and did the tribal design.  I love how these turned out and I found them easier this time around to do and I actually thought my right hand looked better than my left which is rare so I will post some pics of my never-before-seen right hand!

Colors used: base, Sally Hansen Lavender Cloud (this is probably discontinued), neon stripes, Nina Ultra Pro Pearly Brights, China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise, and Orly Glowstick.

My usual left hand first

Now for the unseen right hand!

Private Show

Hey guys,

So I finally was able to find Pure Ice Private Show at my Wal Mart the other day, which is a dupe for Butter London The Black Knight!  I have wanted The Black Knight for a long time but just wasn't willing to dish out the money for it so I was so excited to find a dupe for it.  If anyone remembers last year around the holidays there was a set released with The Black Knight and Tart With a Heart and I saw a ton of pics using this combo and I loved the look of it so I used my Tart With a Heart dupe ( Nina Ultra Pro Holographic Topcoat).

Striping Tape Experiment

Hey guys,

So I made a franken the other day with China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy.  My Flip Flop Fantasy was getting really low and I decided I would get a new one and just have some fun with the rest of it.  I added white and a little bit of a neon orange and the color turned out gorgeous!  So I did a mani with my franken and the topped it with China Glaze White Cap.  I was bored and decided to play with my striping tape I went with another neon, Nina Ultra Pro Pearly Brights.  Pearly Brights isn't that far off from my franken color so it was nice subtle look (if you call crazy bright coral neon subtle haha).

Pearly Brights

Hey guys,

I grabbed this polish at Sally's the other day and I am in love with it!  It's Nina Ultra Pro Pearly Brights, a gorgeous coral leaning pink neon with shimmer.  I don't know how this one has never caught my eye before.  It is super neon and the color is so lovely.  The formula was really nice on this one, especially for a neon.  I did 3 coats but if you are careful two would be fine.  Also I am sorry for the dry fingers forgot to moisturize before taking pics and I had used acetone to remove my previous mani.

Palette Cleanser

Hey guys,

I have a nice palette cleansing mani today.  After all the Holiday glitter bombs and nail art I needed something refreshing.  I love the look of these two polishes together.  It is very soft and subtle, but still has a fun element to it with the glitter.

I used OPI Bubble Bath and Nina Ultra Pro Holographic Topcoat

Tiffany Imposter

I think I have an addiction to Tiffany blue colored polishes.  I grabbed this one by Finger Paints the other day and I got it home and realized I had at least two others that were almost exactly the same!  In my defense this one is more blue toned than the other two but still...

I used Finger Paints Tiffany Imposter, Nina Ultra Pro Holographic Top Coat, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Set The Stage and Cover Girl Gold Rush

Ugh I hate how glitter photographs w/ flash it makes it look really sparse which is not how it appears in real life at all!

31 Day Challenge, Day 17 Glitter

I have been waiting on this one!  I picked up a polish at Sally's last weekend and I have been dying to try it out since then.  It's Nina Ultra Pro Holographic Topcoat, it is super gorgeous and is almost an exact dupe to Butter London Tart With A Heart.  I layered 2 coat of Holographic Topcoat over After Party.
